Modern Victorian Updo Hair for Genesis 8 Female

Thanks for your interest in Modern Victorian Updo! Modern Victorian Updo is a modern iteration of the classic Victorian Updo hair style that works extremely well on Genesis 8 female characters. This asset is the eighth character hair from our design house. Modern Victorian Updo was inspired by a single photograph I saw when researching updo hairstyles. The model whom I will not name is a famous French female hair model with a quirky personality and mounds of red hair. Well, we didn't attempt to duplicate that yet, but settled on this sort of "80's Hair" fusion with a Victorian bun. This hair is morphed in terms of wind direction at the sides.
Iray Materials:
1) Blonde 01
2) Blonde 02
3) Black
4) Brown
5) Redhead 01
6) Redhead 02
Using the Hair
1. Choose your character in the "Scene" tab.
2. Navigate to Modern Victorian Updo in your assets folder, where you installed it.
3. Load the hair.
4. If you want the frizz layer, load it onto the Updo itself, NOT the character.
5. Choose a hair color. NOTE: these colors are shaders. There is an easy to use click-me in the Iray Shaders folder which will automatically select all Modern Victorian hair surfaces in the scene, including the Frizz layer if you have that loaded.
6. Render!
Tips:
After you have your scene setup and the color chosen, experiment with the displacement buttons. For these you can choose all hair surfaces beforehand, or just select individual surfaces you'd like to try it on.
