Two Story Garden Apartments For Daz Studio
System Requirements:
PC/MAC, Daz Studio
Product requirements:
Nvidia Iray
This is the Garden Apartment building. Use it as a studio and general hangout for your Daz Studio characters. To the left and right on one side are spiral staircases which are exterior stairs leading from the patio to the balcony above. The doors to the left inside the top floor are single main entry doors. Opposite them are french doors which open on hinges.
The balcony is wrap-around. On one side, the corners round out to small landings. On the other side there is a portico shape which extends outward providing plenty of room for any outdoor furniture you'd like to place there.
The stone block corners are separate objects which can be hidden. The same goes for the cornice at the top of the building. This object has a material preset button to add Fleur-de-lys accents at the corners, or to turn them off. The entire structure is made of subsets. You can load one floor or both floors, or the entire building.
The doors all open and close. Simply select one and you find the slider for this under "Transforms" in the Parameters Tab. The same applies for the end windows in the large picture window sets. These windows will open inward individually.
The interior walls, in fact all surfaces, can be changed using the shader presets in the Shaders subfolder. There are eight wallpapers for the interior walls and a spruce wood shader as well. To use them, simply select the wall surface you want to change and double-click the shader that you want.
NOTE: If you'd like to enclose a given space withing either apartment, simple add a plane from your Daz primitives option and use the shaders to match it to the walls.
To install:
Unzip into your Daz3D directory, either the program folder or your "My Library" folder. You'll find your new jeans under:
Architecture --> Causam3D --> Two Story Apartments.
To Use:
Select your character (either a G8 or G8.1) and then load the dress then run the dForce simulation. Then choose the shaders you want and render! That's it, you're done.
