Studying game art and design at the Art Institute of California San Diego, Chris Tarzan was hired as a 3D artist and VFX compositor for Golden Era Productions before graduating.

After a few years he took a job closer to home as Visual Effects Artist for a DOD contractor, but after a layoff moved to the east coast to become an environment artist for the video game industry.

His first AAA title was the award winning massive multiplayer online video game Elder Scrolls Online at Zenimax Online Studios.

After almost five years working on ESO he moved down to Florida for Darkside Game Studios and worked on the reboot of Phantom Dust.

Returning back to CA he outsourced art for Armature Studios on the AAA action adventure game Recore.

And coming out 2018 is Chris Tarzan character art for the retro style Japanese role playing game Pixel Noir for SWDtech Games.
