Small Marine Tanker Project 1844 3D Model
Project 1844 Cairo tankers, designated Fuel II Class Marine Tankers by NATO, are a series of small seagoing tankers. Initially classified as seagoing self-propelled tanker barges, they were later reclassified as seagoing liquid bulk carriers.
The tankers are designed to supply ships in port or on voyages with fuel oil, diesel fuel, machine oil, or water.
The series, in various modifications, was built from 1972 to 1997 for the Soviet Navy and other agencies, as well as for the Egyptian Navy. By 1987, 26 vessels of this project, in various modifications, had been built. A total of 32 vessels, including Project 18444, are believed to have been built.
