Cebu is a province in the Philippines in the Central Visayas region, it occupies the island of the same name and more than 150 smaller islands. The capital is located in the city of Cebu, which is a major port. Monuments from the 16th century Spanish colonization era have been preserved here, such as the Basilica of Minore del Santo Nino and the triangular fort of San Pedro.
