Sharm el-sheik is a resort city in Egypt, located between the desert of the Sinai Peninsula and the Red Sea. Sharm El sheik is famous for its quiet sandy beaches, clear waters and coral reefs. Naama Bay is popular among tourists, along which stretches a palm-fringed promenade with many bars and restaurants. Another famous place is Ras Mohammed Park, which especially attracts diving enthusiasts. Here you can swim next to the shipwreck Thistlegorm and look at the Shark and Yolanda reefs.
