Tomb of Nefertari 3D Model
The Tomb of Queen Nefertari, wife of the great pharaoh Ramesses II. The tomb (QV66) is one of the jewels of Ancient Egyptian art and sepulchral architecture, featuring many scenes featuring the queen in the presence of the gods, as well as the fearsome guardians of the gates to the underworld.
This model was made in SketchUp, and converted into a .obj file in Blender. It can be imported into Daz, and ought to be scaled to about 800% in order to be proportionate with figures. It is complete and accurate, for the most part, and includes two sets of textures, one with the paintings restored (which I did in Photoshop, filling in all the missing areas), one showing the walls as they actually exist, with some areas damaged or crumbled away. Also includes bump layers for most of the walls, creating the illusion of raised relief carving.
