DD Nyla HR is a reusable DAZ Studio character built for consistent results across different lighting setups, environments, and render styles without requiring constant material adjustments.
Many characters look correct only under specific lighting or require reworking shaders and makeup to fit new scenes. Nyla is designed so the base skin remains stable, while surface finish, makeup, and detail intensity can be adjusted independently.
In addition, the character includes dual material support (Iray Uber and PBR Skin), allowing you to switch between shader workflows depending on your rendering needs without rebuilding the setup.
## How it works in practice

Load the character, choose a skin tone and surface preset, then render.
You can select between Iray Uber or PBR material presets depending on your workflow. Both are tuned to maintain consistent skin response across lighting setups.
Makeup is layered and removable, so it can be changed or disabled without affecting the underlying skin. Eye colors, nail options, and gloss levels can be switched quickly depending on the scene.
Normal map strength can be reduced or disabled for wider shots to improve performance, then restored for close-up renders. This allows the same character to move between portrait work and full-scene compositions without duplicating materials.
