Galette Des Rois
Galette Des Rois
The king cake is a French pastry that dates back to the Middle Ages.
It is commonly served on the Epiphany, which is celebrated on January 6th.
The king cake is a pastry that is made with puff pastry and filled with frangipane, a sweet almond cream.
A small porcelaine figurine, called a f ve, is hidden within the cake.
The person who finds the f ve is crowned king or queen for the day.
The tradition of the king cake is thought to have originated in Italy.
It was brought to France by the Romans, who celebrated the Epiphany with a cake called panis benedictus, or blessed bread.
In the Middle Ages, the king cake became a popular way to celebrate the Epiphany.
The f ve was added to the cake as a symbol of the Three Wise Men, who brought gifts to the baby Jesus.
Today, the king cake is remains a popular tradition in France and other parts of the world.
It is a delicious and festive way to celebrate the Epiphany.
This crown is modeled after the traditional Epiphany crown that is served with galette des rois.
This crown is available in two versions:
Folded: This version is perfect for displaying on your computer or printing out for your own use.
Unfolded: This version is perfect for using in your Daz3D scenes.
