This product does exactly as promised and does it well. You just load the shell on. No muss no fuss. I believe the offset is .016 (not 100% sure), which means if you have grafts and other shells that are close to the character's skin, they fit comfortably beneath it without having to monkey with them. It also transferred on to Diktator as promised, and looks great.
If you want to change the coloring provided, it is a simple matter to do so. It works with just the Base Color, Gloss, and Opacity, so modifying it is fairly simple.
I would say this product is not for simulating sweat/oily skin textures -- and clearly states it is for the oiled look. And for that it does the job perfectly.
