dForce Morgana Bat Costume for Genesis 8 8.1 Female and 9

Morgana ships as two separate builds. The Genesis 8 Female version is conformed to the Genesis 8 skeleton; the Genesis 9 version is conformed to the Genesis 9 skeleton, with its own weight transfer, its own fit morphs and its own material presets.

Genesis 8.1 Female is covered by the Genesis 8 Female build, which fits it without conversion.

Three pieces, worn your way

For each figure, Morgana comes as four wearables: the full costume in one click, the bodysuit, the horns and the garters. Wear the whole costume, or take any piece into another outfit.

The bodysuit

A strapless bodysuit with a sweetheart neckline, three-part cups and a high-cut leg. Over it sits a sheer tulle top, front and back, with a high collar and long sleeves closed by fitted cuffs. The collar and the cuffs are finished with a band, and a fine piping runs along the sleeve from the cuff to the collar.

The wings

The wings grow out of the sleeves. They are sewn to the side of the body from the underarm to the waist and fall free down to the hip, ending in four scalloped arcs. Piped ribs run through the membrane, like the bones of a bat wing. The Wing Shorten morph raises the scalloped hem toward the seam without distorting the arcs.

Wings that move

The bodysuit ships with a dForce modifier on the wing membrane only. The ribs and the hem are held in place and follow the figure, so the wing keeps its shape while the tulle between the ribs moves. The rest of the costume follows the figure through rigging.

The horns

A headband with two short curved horns that sweeps behind the ears. It is a rigid prop that loads attached to the head, so it follows every head turn without bending. The band and the horns share the same glossy finish, tone on tone with the bodysuit.

The garters

A pair of garters, one on each thigh: a satin elastic band with gathered lace above and below and a satin bow on the outer side. Three lace patterns, Chantilly, Fan and Web, and presets to hide the left or the right garter when you only want one.

Fit that you control

Eight fit morphs on the bodysuit, grouped under Dreamline Studios > Fit in the Parameters pane: Bust, Belly and Glutes, with Left and Right sliders for Bust and Glutes, plus Wing Shorten. The morphs are cut from each build's own rigging, so the Genesis 9 sliders follow Genesis 9 anatomy rather than being copied across from the Genesis 8 build.

Eight Halloween colors

Black, Blood Red, Plum, Midnight, Pumpkin, Toxic Green, Bone and Ash Grey. Every piece has its own color presets, so the bodysuit can wear one color and the horns and garters another.

Tulle and finishes

The tulle comes in three opacities, Light, Medium and Dense, each with a net weave or a smooth finish. The collar and the cuffs can be sheer tulle or solid, and the piping can be satin or grosgrain.

PRODUCT NOTES

- Only the wing membrane is dForce ready. The ribs, the hem and the rest of the costume follow the figure through rigging.
- The horns are a rigid prop attached to the head. With very full hairstyles, part of the band can sit inside the hair.
- Fit morphs adjust the garment, not the figure.
- Materials are Iray only.
- Genesis 8.1 Female is supported through the Genesis 8 Female base.
- Genesis 9 has its own build. It is not the Genesis 8 set converted, and it does not require Auto-Fit.
