4-8-4 Steam Locomotive Engine 3D Model
This model was built near to scale and in as much detail as possible for a visualization model. The model includes animateable wheels and drivers. It is a great model for cyber railroading. Native format is 3ds Max version 13. Model was exported to a wide variety of formats. Other formats are exported in one resolution. This can be further subdivided. Exported formats are prepared well to work correctly with every standard modeling software. Compatibility level with other softwares may be limited.
Textures are included with all files.
The model is built to be used in animations and video or simulation. It can also be used to populate a still scene.
Previews were rendered using 3dsmax standard scanline.
This type of steam locomotive was used around the world. The one modelled here is a US Berkshire Steam locomotive used in the early 20th century. There were powerful enough to pull the long heavy trains across the US through the Rocky Mountains during the WWII Era.
