Boeing C-97 Stratofreighter 3D Model
The C-97 model is built very near to scale. Engines are modeled. The model is fully textured and comes with animatable control surfaces, landing gear, cowl flaps and propellers. The tanker version KC-97 models include a boom that can be animated for mid air refueling scenes. It is available in several different formats.
The Boeing C-97 Stratofreighter was a long-range heavy military cargo aircraft based on the B-29 bomber. Between 1947 and 1958, 888 C-97s in several versions were built, 811 being KC-97 tankers. C-97s served in the Berlin Airlift, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War.
