This is my entry for the Sexy Robot Contest II.
She is the first robot to awaken still sitting in her capsule, looking almost human, yet clearly artificial. Designed to be elegant and graceful, she represents the pinnacle of bio-mechanical design.
The story begins at the moment of activation. She has just awakened in her capsule, fully formed and aware. Others like her are still dormant behind the glass she is the first to come to life.
The entire character was modeled manually in Blender.
I created a custom rig for the character and used it to pose her for the final render.
For the facial expression, I used shape keys to bring her to life with a soft, natural look.
All materials were created by me inside Blender, using procedural shaders and hand-painted elements.
The hair was made using Blenders particle system.
Rendered in Cycles with 1000 samples for the main render.
