I can't reply or even take part in threads he starts. But it's no real loss. He isn't worth the time.

Exactly, and that's a problem isn't it As pointed out to RenderHub the implementation is majorly flawed and allows any member to prevent another from participating in threads. Just because a person has someone on ignore, that doesn't mean that person on Ignore should be exluded from replying to other members in the thread (or making their own comments on the subject), regardless of who started the thread.
All ignore should do is prevent the pots of the Ignored person from being shown to the person who put them on ignore. The function is called "IGNORE" but actuallly functions as "SILENCE A MEMBER" or "DICTATE".
But yeah, welcome to the club, you're clearly another of us who are a threat to his insecurity.

But when you're the one who's being maliciusly targeted, harrased, antagonised and then prevented from replying to expose what he's doing, it becomes personal. And the sad fact of the matter is that it is the flawed implementation of both the "REPORT" and "IGNORE" functions that is enticing this troll to abuse its flaws.
Me, I don'l lke to see anyone banned, and I don't really want to see him banned, either. I must be the most anti-ban person I know. But surely something needs to be done to fix this. So far, there are three of us in this thread alone who is being silenced from complete discussions because of the flawed implementation.
Surely the ONLY thing the "IGNORE" button should do, is prevent the person who put them on ignore from seeing that person's posts. There is literally nothing else that it should do, nothing, and therefore anything else it does in addition to that, is overstepping the mark.
