It's a minor thing - and perhaps something only for those interested in that stat (for whichever reason, we're not judging or condemning) - but sorting things by most likes isn't.. uh... showing things by most likes.

The filter in question may take into account other parameters such as the number of sales. I have several products in my store that have likes and no sales!

Tue, Apr 08That's what I was referring to, though I guess it could also be affecting the marketplace.
I assume (but cannot confirm) the filters (top artists, best sellers, trending) use some kind of rolling metric.. current likes over the last x months? The top artists filter is equally weird.

The algorithm there is very dynamic and updates daily. A variety of metrics are considered - but to summarize, I could say it's "whose products are hot right now".
