Hi,
this time I had my browser settings on english, so everyone can understand, what's written.
Tried it with Firefox, with Brave, with Chrome and many times I just get this:

I just wonder, am I the only one?
Is it at my end of the PC?
I've checked my PC, ran a total virus-scan, ran Malewarebytes as well, my PC is clean.
So why will this page always redirect to campusgroups dot com?
I ignored the warning once, cause I didn't saw renderhub as dangerous and was re-directed to the campus-page.

Fortunately, I don't have these problems. So it's more likely to be your browser (although I don't know what exactly is going on there). Incidentally, the page in question that you are being directed to is one of those Cloudfare things ...

Thu, May 08Well, since it happens in every browser I use and this only since some days.
I don't use cloudfare, my bitdefender gets crazy if I even would try.
I only ignored the message once, cause it was renderhub written there and I didn't saw a reason no to go to this page.
Ending up on this campus-page, closed it at once and ran a scan for virus and malware at once.

Thu, May 08it's not obvious but whenever you attempt to contact a website using Secure Sockets Layer protocol (i.e. the target URL begins with "https") your computer first contacts a "trusted" third party site and checks to see if your target has a SSL certificate in good standing, and then if the third party site says it's okay, your browser is allowed to go on to the actual target site. That process is complex, and it can fail for reasons entirely unrelated to your PC or the target site (e.g. there's a little bit too much traffic between you and the SSL certificate host when your PC requests it). SSL service is something each web host like Renderhub has to obtain in some level of service quality, maybe bundled with the web service package, maybe obtained separately, and there's variations in quality of service etc.
To make a long story short, it is pretty unlikely to be your browser or PC, although it might be your ISP (if you get frequent timeouts/packet loss in other circumstances too, for example); depending on where you are in the world, it's more likely some regional gateway or the SSL service host itself (there are some bottom tier ones that are just plain bad and slow), or it can be a result of deliberate denial of service attacks somewhere between you and the SSL certificate host.

Haha ... nobody should go to Cloudflare (unless they are a pirate
OK, joking aside: I did a bit of googling with the following search term " your connection is not private redirect other websites " . A few nice tips came up - and possibly a direct hit on Reddit. So it could be your router. Read here (or use the search term above for more / other info)

Thu, May 08Pirates, the pest of the internet, I was reporting items again and again, to help friends, that had immens losses because of this shit.
Ok, it's years ago and my PC isn't even a year old, so there isn't any connection
The router, oh heaven please no, but then again, can't be, we have all our devices (3 mobiles, 2 PC and a tablet) running over the same router.
And I'm the only one with this problem. Ok, I'm also the only one visiting renderhub.
My younger son has the problem, that what and whom ever is trying to crack his email-account and his passwords are because of that, extrem long and complicated.
Well, I will search and hopefully find out, cause it's annoying.
Isn't cloudflare also used for music and pictures?
I really don't have any clue, since I don't trust anything with cloud in the beginning.
Loading anything up to a cloud, this sound so wrong in so many places. My mobile is telling me, to load my pictures into a cloud, my music as well.
I go old fashioned and save all on a hd.

Thu, May 08Cloudflare is a provider that hosts a wide variety of websites under the guise of (alleged) anonymity. This includes an estimated 40% pirate sites from all possible areas.

Thu, May 08That's a lot!
Well, even by accident, searching for some items, I couldn't go there, Bitdefender is very strict
and with Malewarebytes running as well, I should be safe.
And it's only renderhub, I really don't get it.
But hopefully I will find a solution, today it only happened twice, that I got the warning page. Firefox is telling me, that it can't reach renderhub because timeout.
Cause Firefox was the first I de-installed and installed new, cause it was only that browser.
Now I only get the warning from Brave and Chrome, maybe I should go through the same procedure (but not as every year Miss Sophie
)

Thu, May 08Just for clarification... Are you finding this issue to be on your end - or do you need further assistance?

Thu, May 08I can't answer this right now.
Just right now I'm searching, cause if I'm the only one, the problem must sit at my end.
And as much as I don't like it, I'm already tempted to ask AI to find the causing reason.

Thu, May 08OK. I'll post some questions below in case we can help sort this out.
As others have said, this is likely not related to RenderHub. But can you please clarify a few things for us?
1. "...So why will this page always redirect..."
Do you mean "always" - as in *every time* you try to visit RenderHub?
I ask for clarification because you've successfully posted this forum thread.
If it's not every time - What did you do differently to get to RenderHub this time?
2. Are you experiencing issues like this *only* when you try to visit RenderHub?
Or does this happen when attempting to visit other websites?
3. What page on RenderHub are you trying to access?
The index (main) page - or an internal page?
4. Are you using the most current browser versions? Are they up to date?
Please give us some more details, and we'll see if we can help sort this out.
Thanks!

Thu, May 08Also - It sounded like you said that you reinstalled Firefox and the problem is no longer happening in that browser.
Can you confirm that this is the case?

Thu, May 08Sorry, that was wrong said, cause it's not always, but often.
If it happens with Brave I try with Chrome (or the other way around) so one browser will work. Not often, that I can't go here with any browser, then I just wait several minutes and try again.
But never do anything different, don't even know, what I could do different.
Yes, it's only with Renderhub.
Yes, my browsers are updated and Firefox new installed is telling me:
--------------------------------------------------------
Unable to connect
Firefox can’t establish a connection to the server at renderhub.com.
The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer’s network connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the web.
------------------------------------------------
Just tried it to check, still not available.
So with Firefox I can't reach Renderhub at all.
It's always the mainpage I'm trying to access.

Thu, May 08That is very strange. Can you please try something for me?
Using Chrome, open an Incognito window and try logging into your RenderHub account.
Also, do the same using a Private window in Firefox.
Please report back and post screenshots if you experience any problems.
Thank you.

No problem, Firefox in incognito still no access, Chrome incognito no problem this time.
Deep scan of PC and external hd, absolute clean, nothing.
I really don't get it.
Now I wasn't able to post with Brave browser:

Hi there!
Now that you mentioned it, i tried here in my computer too. The website opens fine even if i logged out, but if i try to open the website on Google Chrome's anonymous window i get this message:

It's on brazilian portuguese but it says that Renderhub is not compatible with HTTPS, very strange, i believe it's nothing on your computer since we are from different countries.

I just wanted to buy a book and noticed this

If there is any connection between this stupid "Verify that ... Cloudflare" and my problem here, I'll hate this stupid verifying even more!

Fri, May 09Naaa ... no connection
Cloudflare itself is not evil ... just earns a lot of money by hosting evil sites
What you see there simply means that the test algorithm comes from Cloudflare and/or is hosted on their server.
A tip for the " Verify ... " fuss (maybe not what you see in your picture): simply type in the required entries more slowly and unevenly - then you don't have to search for pictures

I have just had a look at the SSL certificate from Renderhub. In my opinion, this cannot be the reason, as it is neither expired nor invalid: started 2025/01/24 and expires on 2026/02/23
Perhaps you can look in one of your browsers to see what it displays: in the address bar of the browser there is a small symbol (in Firefox it is a padlock). If you click on it, you can display information and click through to the original SSL certificate.

Fri, May 09yeah it's way more likely that when you're checking the SLL cert that you have a brief (but long enough) time out somewhere between you and the SSL cert host. not really something you can do anything about from the end user side.

Agreed. But maybe that would be a way to find out if the DNS configuration or even the router is compromised if - unlike dieggomasamune - the page is completely redirected. With dieggo it is still Renderhub (see above), with BM it is a Cloudflare page.
