Quick Question: Adobe

I just have a question.
I got this earlier today, and all I wanna know are two things:
1: is it worth it? This one's a question for literally anyone.
And 2: will they make me pay a fee just to cancel it if I were to activate it? This one's a question for other Adobe users.

I've used Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere and After Effects since they where first released. My company bought them for our graphics section. Because of security requirements, our work stations where offline with no possible connection to anything. The software worked fine until Adobe started this online bullshit. We told them of our security requirements and they didn't care. We simply kept using the versions we had and years later, still do. I'm now retired but the folks still working there are slowly migrating to free, open source stuff if possible.
Adobe has become the evil empire with their invasive online bullshit and increased licensing. Don't activate anything! Tell them to eff off! The wider Adobe community is screaming about this. At home I still use an old copy that works fine. Depending on your requirements, the Gimp or Afinity photo might work for you.

I've been using Adobe for years. But they have changed quite a bit. I can write off my monthly fee, but they keep raising it and I'm considering going with Affinity. WHen I have more time, I plan to give it a whirl, I think there is a trial version. Adobe is great, but the cost and the online requirement to use it asr just getting to be too much.

Totally fair questions! #1Depends on how much youll use it. Adobe tools are powerful but pricey. #2Yes, Adobe often charges a cancellation fee if you cancel early on an annual plan. Check the fine print!

I have been using Adobe software for at least 20 years. Like many others, I have watched the company become increasingly greedy over the years.
That's why I can't recommend their products anymore, even though I really enjoyed working with Photoshop, at least before the introduction of Creative Cloud.
To answer your questions:
1. No, it doesn't.
If you're new to graphic design, I strongly encourage you to consider Affinity software, which is much more affordable compared to Adobe's offerings. Some may argue that Adobe's products are more powerful, and while that may be true in certain aspects, overall, you can achieve similar results with Affinity.
2. I think so.
Yes, Adobe does charge a cancellation fee. However, I'm not sure about this particular offer because I didn't read the details; the screen isn't complete, and it's hurting my neck to try to read it
3. My two cents.
Finding the right software can be complicated. Heres my advice:
If you want to create logos or do graphic design and photo retouching, use Affinity Photo (for bitmap) and Affinity Designer (for vector graphics).
If you're interested in digital painting, go straight to Krita it's free and far better than Photoshop or Affinity Photo, especially if you use a pen tablet.

On principle, I dislike subscriptions.
and the possibility of a cancellation fee is one of the reasons why.
