Here we go again......

Once again, a gallery posting of mine is not on the main gallery page, no matter what filter I use. What gives?
It's happened way more than once or twice. I'm really tired of it.

I've had similar happen with other vendors' store items. Items simply don't appear in the general store regardless of filter settings, but do appear if I look directly at an individual vendor's store. Perhaps the RenderHub filters need some work.

Mon, Jul 14We haven't received any confirmed reports like this lately that turned out to be a bug or any problem with the site. Each time, it has been the users' combination of settings that was a factor. If this does happen to you, please let us know right away. We'll take a look and see what's going on.
I see this gallery item uploaded by you two days ago, while sorted by Newest and SafeSite set to Moderate.
Are you talking about a different one?

Similar experience. Images don't show up in the main gallery or vanish for a while then return.
Also the most likes does not work.
Viewing the main gallery, all software , most likes, mature. Usually I don't see any of my renders at all.
Trying not to be too paranoid It's is likely just a glitch because some time refreshing the page the entire gallery updates and things are correctly listed. Not always though as often I can't see my images in the main gallery unless I log in. Then they show up as normal.
Maybe at a guess it's something to do with the software used selection. I use 3dcoat and I noticed that often the 3dcoat images were in the right gallery if you have selected that 3dc specific gallery. They often do not show in the main gallery. Something is broken with the main gallery and maybe it's not loading certain sub galleries.

Hard to send a mail about a bug, that seems to "jump" around.
Looking at different pictures in the gallery and all in a sudden *poff* picture is gone and when I refresh the page, it's back again. Just happened 2 days ago, very strange.

It's either broken or some artist are promoted while others silenced. Not a good look renderhub. Just saying it out loud now because you don't listen.

Thu, Jul 24My default anymore is to blame the algorithms. It's happened on Meta now, of all places. I prompted a cheerleader character, had Meta animate it, then remixed it with its "evil witch" theme. It and my "Vampire Peach" prompt really took off. Then, I ran some of my own videos through the Meta remixer. My "Alchemist" prompt went from 10k views in less than a week, to completely dead. My prompts no longer show up on the Meta home page. My prompts since then get an average of one like.
Every time I add my own content to something, the algorithms force my posts to the bottom of the pile. My most popular prompts on Meta were created entirely by Meta.
I talked to someone on Twitter a long time ago, we talked about shadowbanning being tied to IP addresses. Someone would have to create an entirely new identity to fight that kind of shadowbanning. It isn't tin foil had stuff. If you've been flagged by Google, you're cooked.

Thu, Jul 24And a few thiings to add to that. Slightly related. Maybe those who know me will understand why I rail against certain technologies.
If anyone remembers, back in the days Comcast took it upon itself to secretly throttle the bandwidth of accounts that were flagged as using Torrents to share files. My account was throttled, for Torrenting and seeding a Linux Mint ISO. Some tech bros uncovered the throttling, Comcast backpedaled and the throttling stopped.
I'm also a victim of the U.S. government. I've had a Nerdshack email account for around 20 years now. Nerdshack was a part of Lavabit. So by default I also have a Lavabit email account. Lavabit was the most secure encrypted email service on the planet. And guess who had a Lavabit email account? Edward Snowden. The feds tried to strongarm Lavabit into compromising Snowden's account and hand over unencrypted data. The owner shut down the service in protest. It is back up now but Lavabit isn't what it used to be. My account was shut down for years and I was forced to open a Gmail account.
My Pinterest account was banned for literally reasons unknown. There was no appeal process and Pinterest told me to pound sand when I asked why my account was permabanned. I made a new account using the same email address. You can add a period somewhere in your Gmail address and it counts as a new address, and all mail gets routed back to your email account. A few of my saved Pins are regularly taken down for "sexual content", then reinstated up to a week later. The Pins are of makeup.

Sun, Jul 27I hear you, the idea of running everything by arrhythmical profiling is quite terrifying. Unfortunately it is a reality.
Is it really needed for a simple gallery ? Coding a gallery to show the latest post in the correct order actually showing the most resent uploads by time and date. That's easy.

Mon, Jul 28I have a Tumblr account with 54,000 scans from vintage bridal magazines. I have it all backed up because I know that the algorithm used will magically see it as horrible porn and delete the whole thing. Tumblr (like so many other venues) is running on auto these days at the hands of AI bots hoping to somehow start making money.
