Win10 Nvidia drivers questions. Titan X (CLOSED)
643I have a Titan x, 12 GB GPU, 3700 CUDA running on Win 10, AMD 6 Core, 32GB Ram.
I render iRay via DAZ Studio and some video editing that won;t use CUDA.
I am notified that I do not have the latest driver however I hesitate to upgrade for two reasons.
1. Win 10's dual monitor configuration is terrible. If your monitors are not identical with same resolution it is a nightmare to get them to work. ( Win7 just works...no complaints) I fear having problems keeping it all working if I update drivers.
2. Will and update be of any value? The hype on Nvidia is all about game performance. I do NO games only graphics and renders. What would be in such an upgrade that is of any value to me given the risk of problems I don't have now?
Feed back appreciated !

The NVIDIA Studio Driver is just for you (and all of us using Daz).
I don't know all the technical stuff behind it. I just know I'm using it (Windows 10 / dual monitors / RTX) and have no problems at all.
NVIDIA even makes mention of Daz Studio in this article:
https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/news/nvidia-studio-driver-now-supercharge-your-favorite-creative-apps/
I hope that helps.

Hi,
I don't have a GPU as nice as that. Mine is a EVGA GTX 1080Ti FTW3 with 11GB.
I use an Asus ProArt IPS monitor on one display port and an HDMI through my Yamaha RX-A730 which goes out to my TCL 50" TV.
WI use the NVidia Studio drivers and upgrade as often as the new one comes out.
While I've used MS Windows since version 3 I am currently using Win10.
I hate how Windows gets confused say when I don't have the stereo and TV on
When I do turn on the external devices the audio switches without my wanting it to, but other than that I haven't had any other issues.
My system is running an AMD Ryzen 9 5950x and the one GPU.
I would really love to upgrade to at least an RTX 3080TI or better but I just can't afford that kind of money.
