Keeping track of updated product files (CLOSED)

First I want to thank you admin guys for the change in our being able to control which items in our store can be removed and, if we want at some future point, reinstated.
But I do have another question for you, and that concerns updating products. While at the time of this writing I only have something like 42 or 43 items in my store, I'm going through a major updating of these items. I have already put through a group of them (anyone who visits my store will notice that many of the characters have new cover pages) but there are other internal file changes to icons in the characters' folders.
Well, my question is this - is there any way on the product manager page a column could be added (or something like that) that would indicate that a particular item has been updated and how many times, similar to how many times a particular product is sold?
I keep a bunch of files in my system, moving characters into files for those that are being updated, those that have been uploaded, updates that have been uploaded, yada yada. And after a while it does tend to get a tiny bit confusing....
So, is that something that is workable?
