Help: Using DAZ 4.12 parallel?

Once again, the issue with thread titles and non-native speakers
The thing is: I still have an old DAZ version 4.12 installed on my ancient PC, which I use to encrypt scripts. Every time I create a new script (e.g. for GeoShells), I have to start up that old clunky thing (which takes what feels like forever) to encrypt my new ASCII script. It's awful and absolutely annoying.
The old DAZ version (4.12) is of course NOT available as a .zip file. What options are there for getting it to run on my current workstation alongside the currently installed version (4.20)?
I once tried to copy the old hard drive (with 4.12) 1:1 using a supposedly free partition tool ....
It didn't work - mainly because the tool is anything but free, but has now stubbornly anchored itself.
The only option I can see at the moment is to remove the old hard drive (4.12) and connect it as an external hard drive using a USB kit (I have one with an IDE connection lying around somewhere). Would that work?
Thank you in advance for your comments and tips

Option 1 Install a Beta version
Option 2 rename main executable to something like DAZStudio.exe.bak
Option 3 Install second version(or older version) of DS
Option 4 for advanced PC users: Right click.> run as other users
Make sure to rename the proper .exe for the version you not want to use.
Option 5, I used a script in the past wich allowed to run as many instances you would like to use, sad thing I can't find it on my HD
I know it is free but don't know where to find it.
Kind regards

When using two versions of a software, you must first install the older version.
1) Uninstall the current version
2) Install version 4.12 in the C:\Program Files\DAZ 3D\DAZStudio 4.12 folder
3) Install the latest version in the C:\Program Files\DAZ 3D\DAZStudio 4.24 folder

When I messages 'Pushee-Ri' and offered them my archived version of 4.12, they let me know that they'd already gotten it from someone else.
I know from conversations I've seen elsewhere that there's a pile of people who have kept their old versions of Studio and share them freely. Daz hates this but they can't do stink about it.
It's fun that we can be open about it here. Thanks RenderHub.

Fri, Sep 05I don't know if Daz doesn't like it when people share an older version. No one is forcing them to stop downloading previous versions. They're making a choice, and they should own it!
I think it's a good thing that several people have archived older versions and are offering them to those who need them.
