I noticed a lot of helpful members in the forum who go out of their way to answer questions and assist others. I think it would be cool to acknowledge those people.
Perhaps these helpful members could receive a badge that appears next to their name or under their avatar, once they pass a certain number or percentage threshold. This info could also appear on profile pages along with all the other stats there.

Yeah that would be cool. There could also be a like button for comments... (forum and gallery) it would feel less empty. I don't usually comment when someone else has already said what I think, simply because i don't want to say exactly the same thing as someone else.
And for those who don't want to comment, it would give them a way to participate by showing they agree without having to leave a comment.

Sadly likes and suchlike tend to turn into popularity contests. Person A likes something person B has done, so person B feels obliged to like person A's comments/gallery, and it all becomes a pointless round of folks forming into cliques..
