Well, I got my Daz all snaggerered up.
80Was still trying to figure out D Force.
STILL.
Went to Window - Panes(Tabs) - Simulation Settings and clicked on it.
Was on the Render tab, which suddenly vanished and after two days, it is obvious to me it is never coming back.
Nothing it there. Don't ask for a screenshot, I can't do it on this computer.
I exit then reopen Daz over and over again hoping it will go back to normal. That hasn't helped.
I think I might have to Delete and Reinstall Daz and hope I get lucky.
Then spend a week oe two reloading all my files. IF that works.
Seriously WTF it's like anything D Force is boobytrapped. Been on Daz for over three years now and I've had nothing good result from messing with it.

I feel your pain about Dforce.
Your Render Tab disappeared? Can you open a new Render Tab by going to Window> Panes> Render Settings? Before deleting everything and reinstalling, I would try to change your layout (I've had to do that on earlier versions of DAZ).

When I go to Window - Panes(Tabs) -Viewport and click on it, it comes back, but it comes back as separate window.
Which makes no sense at all.
The viewport also is no longer there. It only comes back as a separate window.
Window - Panes(Tabs) - Render Settings does the same thing. No longer attached; it's now a separate window.

Sat, Nov 08Yep - that happens to me sometimes too. Just don't ask me how to get it back. It's usually a fiddly business (since I don't remember the steps).
But you don't have to delete DAZ and reinstall it!!!
Here are a few links from the DAZ forum. Note: you are not alone

I still don't understand why Window - Panes(Tabs) -Render settings made everything vanish and now they can only come back as separate windows.
This has made me extremely avoidant of EVER dabbling with D Force again. What a horrible feature.

Hey hey I found a amazingly simple way to get it back where it was.
I changed the workspace to a different layout, then changed it back, and it was all fixed.
No more D Force. for me. I've learned my lesson.

Glad to hear you had success! Nothing worse than having it all go haywire, and not knowing how to get it back.

When the interface is messed up:
Exit Daz
Delete the folder
C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\DAZ 3D\ Studio4
Run Daz
Set the interface back the way you like it
Save the Studio4 folder
The next time the interface is messed up, replace the files with your backup
