Blender won;t scale smoothly, jumps in .1 increments.

I have a Blender file in which I can't precisely scale an object because the scaling function got fucked up somehow, to where it will only jump by increments of .1 instead of continuously.
Anybody got clue how to fix this?

I've never had that problem myself ... but have you checked to see if " Snap to Grid " is enabled anywhere? I once had to deal with Snap for another matter and had to activate or adjust it in several places. That is, there was not only the actual Snap setting, but also one or two others.
