Since I asked the same questions in a previous contest, I take the liberty to answer you: yes, you can use models that are in your store at the moment or in the future. Also, I mostly use my own products when I join a contest and I'm working on a new model for this contest too that I'm planning to sell soon.
As for the renders, these must be created specifically for the contest, and only later used as promotional images for your product. I think there's no problem if you specify this in the description of your entry, but since I'm not part of the staff, it's best to wait for an official response to be sure.

As @TheSte89 mentioned, that is perfectly fine. Per the official rules, it's the *contest entry* that must be "new original work specifically made for this contest". And that would be your "sexy but villainous 3D render".
Additionally, their other suggestion about promo renders is spot-on. If your contest entry is going to be a promo image for a product, it should be entered in the contest first.
