How do I change the texture to my own creation?
66I know how to change textures but I would like to create my own texture file somewhat larger than the original so I can add more details when I do a close up of the image. In the attched image I want to change the texture of the bomb to include a logo on it. The current texture is on the right but it appears that the entire package has all of the textures in that one file.

I'm not a pro at this but maybe bring it into blender or substance painter and retexture there. If the logo is the main thing, then I would just use an iray decal node.

Fri, Feb 06This is an old video but I don't think it has changed much. If it doesn't help then let me know and maybe I can make a video on it.

As long as the model in question is UV mapped, you can apply another texture, IF, and its a big if, if it has its own material zone. that way the rest of your model retains the original textures, and your bomb get assigned the new ones.

Fri, Feb 06To add to this, I think you can assign material zones using the geometry editor in daz. I've also taken models into blender to adjust the material zones and it's fairly simple.
