Is it possible to sell Artwork here? i ask this as i cannot find a section in the market place for artwork, or any options to sell artwork here.
Thank you for any response to this.

Just a thought but, perhaps being more specific as to what you consider Artwork would give others an idea on how to respond.
If is related to comics and/or illustrations, I believe we used to have a section but not anymore.

We did have a comic section until last year (?)
The comics were the largest source of content violations so RenderHub chose to stop selling comics

He probably means to put the images up for sale like on DA or other platforms. I have a question too, can the images in the gallery be downloaded by everyone and in full resolution?

Mon, Feb 09I'm kind of curious why you think this is absurd. Have you not heard of "right-click / save image as..."???
Any publicly displayed image on ANY website can be downloaded this way, or by using other browser tools. That's just how the internet works.

Mon, Feb 09I'm curious too, did you understand what I was talking about? On serious platforms, right-clicking downloads in low resolution.

Mon, Feb 09I'm just here to say that two of my favorite artists, The Joker and Thirddeyez, are on the same post. Today is a win for art!

Tue, Feb 10@joker if you can see it on your screen, it has been downloaded to your PC in whatever that resolution is, and whatever code the web page might have on it to try to make it harder to save a copy can be worked around

Sure, anything can be done, but that doesn't mean you don't have to protect the images. I'm re-evaluating DA, where I can leave the public images and the ones I want in subscription folders.

If you're talking about selling physical prints... No, RenderHub does not have that feature.
RenderHub does have Stock Images and Reference Photos sections in the marketplace.

Mon, Feb 09Not physical printing, many of us on DA charge for downloading images or have premium folders with subscribers, personally I didn't think that what we upload to the gallery was free to download, I find it absurd.

Mon, Feb 09Is there any possibility in the future for artists to sell images/artwork on here?, it's a shame this in not a feature considering this is a art site, and tbh was looking for a new home away from the toxic way DA is run and favours AI.

Tue, Feb 10DA sucks pretty bad and aside from the general abundance of AI, it's especially gross that people sell AI generated child porn there (really unambiguous, literally AI generated child porn) which is what made me stop visiting completely

Tue, Feb 10seems to me if you wanted to sell digital content (your images) you can just package the high quality images for sale in the store but don't post the full resolution images to the gallery? why would you do that and expect it to be kept secure?
other people do things like post (essentially) advertisements to offsite stores or patreon

Renderhub is primarily a 3D content marketplace supporting all of the major
3D content formats.
If you have built yourself a following, you're probably better off trying to sell your art/prints or through your own venues, or perhaps on something like Patreon.

Tue, Feb 10Then why is there a Gallery? and why are there competitions? it still does those things. Macdonald's sells food, and yet it is the biggest toy distributer on the planet. so saying this site is primarily a 3D content market place is not the point, It does do artwork too, it can do both, it can grow. It can be better than it is and Better than DA.... there is money in that.
Even if you could list it to sell, this is a site full of artist, who would bother to buy?
as Anabran says, elsewhere is a better option.

Tue, Feb 10You're right, counting those who make themselves beautiful with artificial intelligence, there are many, but much fewer than other platforms and despite everything, something is sold there. In the previous answer they told me that this is how the internet works so it's right to steal (not download) the images. Let's turn the tables... because this is a site for sellers, not artists, it's full of pirate sites where you can download the packages, so because it can be done on the internet, is it right to do so? I'd say no.

Wed, Feb 11My point is supply and demand, a basic Economic concept. A bvuyer buys what they need. Because an Artist can create their own Art, they don\t need to buy someone elses.
The only section that was on this site that had posted art for sale, was the Sigital comicbooks, but the user their abused their privileges, pushing the rules and the entire section was removed, and rightly so.
Bootomline, is you want to sell your art, you need to find the customers that want to buy your art. It will not be at a site full of artist, nor a site full of sellers, who barely make enough for rent.

If there is so much money in selling Iray renders of Daz prefab content
then why are you not selling your Daz content renders directly to your fans
without having to split profits with Renderhub or be subject to their arbitrary content restrictions?
I have seen people making several thousand per month, in Patreon fees, selling custom "Furry art"
it's up to you to find/exploit your Market.

Wed, Feb 11I do sell my artwork, just not on renderhub, because you can't, and i do pay fee's on the platform that i sell my work on, like any other, and would if i could sell them here.
The only problem with patreon for me is traffic, it feels like you have to advertise elsewhere and get people to travel to patreon, which to me and many people i talk to, don't want to do, i don't want to add steps to do things, this bores people and turns them away.
Don't get me wrong if the owners of Renderhub don't want to do that then fair enough. but saying this is a 3D content market place and then dabble in gallery's and competitions seems half baked, they have got this far why not sell artwork too? it won't effect anything, and i find it strange that you seem against it and not the galleries as well?

Wed, Feb 11I'm a seller, and the gallery is important for sellers to showcase their products. There are cross-links between the gallery and the products we sell. Our buyers can upload their gallery images and add links to the products they use, as MKDAWUSS does: https://www.renderhub.com/gallery/86457/image-1094
