Site idea: Scrolling favorites banner with small thumbnails
36
I'd like to share an idea with the owner of this site.
I think it's a good idea for every visitor to be able to visually see what they have in their favorites list. Personally, I don't find the heart icon with a red labeled number particularly appealing. I think you could use smaller thumbnails that scroll like a horizontal banner, either left or right and able to turn it on or off. On that manner you have your favorites visible all time (if you like) instead of a heart with a number.

We take the same idea and start again

My opinion remains the same: if it's an option that can be easily disabled, why not?
As a visitor, I hate things that scroll and flash.
And as JohnnyLuck777 wrote in the thread referenced above:
"As a vendor, wouldn't this bother you? Do you want a customer distracted by other vendors' products when they're browsing your store?"
And my answer is NO! Absolutely not!

Repeating what I posted in the other thread - please, no.
As a customer, this would annoy the crap out of me. I know exactly where to find my wishlist items, favorites, collections, etc. I'll go there when I want to see them. I don't need them in my face with every page load.
