My wishlist has 3 items on sale, the heart icon says 2, I click the icon and it displays 3 sale items.

Issue appears to be related to adding items that are both new and on sale to my wishlist. When I add a "New" item that is also on sale, the number by my "wishlist items on sale" does not increase.

Yes, there is an open bug report for this. And you're right - that's what seems to be causing the counter mismatch.
