The render has a cluster of models that were used in one of my previous renders from years ago. Would this disqualify me?

Per the official rules:
"...Entries must be new original work specifically made for this contest..."
Since this is a render contest, and not a modeling contest, your *render* would be the "original work".
So, to answer your question: That would not be a reason for disqualification, as long as your new render includes new elements.
