Storyteller - Cinematic Storytelling Script for Daz Studio
140Bring your scenes to life with Storyteller - a cinematic scene direction system for Daz Studio designed to create immersive visual narratives in seconds.
Storyteller transforms static environments into fully interactive cinematic experiences through a powerful scenario-based workflow. Pick your actors' genders, load characters quickly, switch between story scenarios, apply compatible poses, and instantly change cinematic camera angles - all from one streamlined interface.
Each actor can be male or female, and Storyteller is designed so the scene's poses work across gender combinations, making it easy to create different versions of the same cinematic moment without rebuilding everything manually.
Designed for speed, immersion, and creativity, Storyteller allows creators to focus on storytelling instead of spending hours manually setting up scenes.
3 free scenarios which require 3 free products from our store have been released so you can see if Storyteller is made for you.
We will share the Development Kit in a few days so that you can share and even sell your scenarios made for Storyteller

I've just given it a quick tryout, and it seems promising. Is the ability to use Genesis 9 in the plans?

Thank you for your comment, Development Kit has been released. It features:
- 1 PDF
- ST_Cameras.duf
- Powershell scripts to batch thumbnails
- Basic Folder Structure
That will allow you to easily create and redistribute scenarios, use your custom Ads and even sell them (when a user clicks on your scenario, it will only show your ads).
We advise you download Underground Cave (which auto loads a flashlight wearable) and look into the structure to get a better understanding of how easy it is to create your own scenarios.
So far, Storyteller supports:
- 1 2 or 3 actors
- 1 wearable for Actor A and 1 for Actor B (the wearables are only loaded on specific poses)
- Up to 3 required products (e.g. Environment A, Smart prop B, Wearable C)
- Your own custom ads with gender preference (if Actor A is Male and Actor B is Male, then only show Ad 4 for pose 6 for instance)
- Non Adult Ads by default (only ads for the 3 free products available on my store).

New update:
Custom_switchables
This lets a scenario automatically change parts of the environment depending on the selected pose.
Think of it like, a pose changes and the environment reacts automatically.
Examples:
A mattress changes shape/position.
This can be done by putting, for instance, 2 props in a null group named Switchables.
FutonA
FutonB (hidden)
You can now create:
opened/closed doors
messy/clean beds
broken props
lights on/off
object progression
all tied directly to poses.

custom_wearables
This lets Storyteller automatically load/remove wearable scene elements depending on:
actor
gender
pose number

Wed, May 27Thank you, still my knowledge is very basic, and the code not that great, the only thing I'm a bit proud of, is to bring unique scripts/features to help Daz Studio users.
Thank you.
Thank you.
