DAZ Content - DB XXX - XY for Genesis 9
165Sorry, I'm not sure where to post this but hopefully, it will be seen and I can get some help. I'm trying o use DB XXX - XY for Genesis 9 in Daz Studio 6 but when I use the auto load script to a figure, the hip area becomes grey and renders white instead of the character map. The attached image shows the basic G9 figure Ty with XY applied (box added for modesty purposes!) as Ty is explicitly mentioned for compatibility however, this happens on all figures I add XY to. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? Thank you

Just to add, the scripts says it fails but when you look at the log it says the script has executed successfully so I'm confused!

FYI, with version 4.12, the G9 is gray during iRay rendering.
Do you have the same problem with earlier versions 4.22 or 4.24?

Sat, Jun 20Hmm... that I'm not sure. I uninstalled 4.24 as originally I had trouble installing 6 so went back to basics and remove everything . I guess I could try and reinstall 4.24 but not ideal of course
The script that copies the materials from the torso to the geograft failed. I know the script for Genesis 8 DBXXX-XY fails in DAZ 6, I'm assuming the genesis 9 one does also. It's a variable name DAZ 6 scripting doesn't like, the vendor is going to have to fix that sometime.
If you have deleted 4.24, not a good idea yet since DAZ 6 is still buggy, and you can use both on the same machine, you'll have to load the materials manually with the surfaces tab. If you do reinstall 4.24 you can load them on the character there then save the subset to reload into DAZ 6, once the materials are on it will not have a problem.
