Hello, I am looking for a way to implement a multi-part Movement in Daz Studio. I once found a GIF that illustrates my Idea quite well. I want to implement a rotational Movement and an up-and-down Movement.

The implementation should work something like it does in that Poser Product, when I select the "wheel" Bone in the Poser Product, I have a "Spin" slider in the Parameters Tab. When I move the slider, the Wheel turns. When the Wheel moves, the attached Rod moves along with it. However, I also want to move another Part. Back to the GIF, I want to create a Movement where, using a slider, I can rotate the Wheel and simultaneously move the attached rod as well as the blue Pistons.

Is it possible to implement something like this in Daz Studio? I don't want to create an Animation, the Movement should simply be adjustable using the slider in the Parameters Tab. Has anyone perhaps created something like this before?

Hi, bluewoods.

I'm not sure it'll be the same, but I think it follows the same principle. If you download my free Surface Pro item, you can see how I link things to make the tablet and the lid rotate.

Hello Luxe Muse, I would certainly say that the mechanism in the Tablet could operate in the same way. After all, a Movement causes a second Part to move simultaneously. I noticed in your Screenshot that, within the Structure on the left-hand Side, there are several "P"s inside a small square, with "ERC" next to them. Can you explain to me what "ERC" is? How do I create an "ERC" like that? How many of these "ERC"s can be connected in a row?
