Maybe I just couldn't find it, but... there's really no way to upload images to show someone else, right? I mean in a (more or less) private way.

Thanks

I did raise this question some time back ( https://www.renderhub.com/forum/14485/images-in-messages ), and I get the impression it's in their to-do list. Somewhere.

I could use the feature myself.

Oh... March. Thank you.
In the meantime, I used a store daft – where you can save everything from text to .zip or even images – and linked the image that I uploaded there. More a MacGyverism than a solution smile

Not sure if this is related, but sometimes if I want to show an image in my support thread, I upload it to the gallery and then delete the gallery post, but copy the image URL. Hopefully this doesn't break any rules.

Ah, an other trick. Nice. I didn't know that images with non-public content are visible to everyone. But maybe it's just like the 'draft' solution.
The problem: You also have to upload a 1000px image.

Use an online hosting site like https://imagehostx.com/en and provide the link via private message.

I didn't know this provider before. No login, that is nice. Thank you.
Tell me, I'm too sensitive, but it feels absolutely wrong: In a forum for 3D stuff where people work together, send each other bug reports..., I think there *should* be an option for such things.
Image hosters want to have a login, 500 scripts unlocked, stealing my time with cloudflare crap and store 3000 cookies on my hard drive. Without asking.

pour info une option de firefox vous permet d'effacer les cookies et les données de sites à chaque fermeture smile

Just so you know, a Firefox option allows you to clear cookies and site data every time you close the browser.

Yes, that's useful (I would even pin your comment)
Unfortunately, however, this is a defensive battle. The other side is constantly undermining such protective measures. And they will not report if they have succeeded smile

As @MKDAWUSS mentioned, this is an open feature request and it is on the to-do list.

Unfortunately, I don't have a timeframe. Hopefully, we'll see this feature implemented soon.

Thank you for your feedback.
