Coupons overriding sales instead of stacking (CLOSED)

Im not sure if this is an intentional change or not, but in the past, coupons would stack with sales. However, applying a coupon now only gives you the discount of the coupon, even if its less than the sale. For example, I added an item that is 30% off at the moment, and applied a 25% coupon code. The coupon was accepted, and the price increased to being 25% off instead of 30% off. I tried this with a few items in the store from different artists with different coupons and sales going on, and the ones I tried all work the same way.

That is definitely a bug. I could test and confirm the behavior.
Thank you very much for reporting this. I have forwarded it to our tech guys.
I'll report back here in this thread when I hear that they have fixed it.

The bug has been fixed - where the coupon was overriding the sale price, even if the sale price was a greater discount than the coupon.
Coupon and sale price "stacking"...
I discussed this with the owner, and it sounds like the coupons were never intended to "stack" an additional discount on top of a sale price.
It's only supposed to apply the "highest amount off" - whether it be sale price or coupon - so that's the way it functions now.
Sorry for any inconvenience or confusion this caused.
And thank you for reminding me by message to post an update here.
