Fri, Nov 04, 2022There are two says to go about it. One is to right-click on it and select "open with," then select Windows Explorer if you have no zip-managing program installed. It will then just open up like a regular desktop folder. The other way is to mess with settings, which I hate doing in Windows 10, but you can see more detailed instructions here: https://www.makeuseof.com/tag/change-default-settings-windows-10/
OR, third option, get an open-source archive managing software and it should set itself as default automatically. I've been using PeaZip for ages because it handles everything and is easy to use. And if you wind up buying a lot of third-party Daz stuff, it will be handy.

Sat, Nov 05, 2022I've installed with Pea zip in the same location as other third-party content that works. I can see the thumbnails but i get'' files not found'' when I try to load. I have been using Daz studio for over 10 years, it's not this complicated most of the time.

Sat, Nov 05, 2022With that, you'll have to shoot a message to the vendor. They will be better able to help you with the file locations as I don't own that specific product.
Here is the file path, do you see anything wrong here?

Sun, Nov 06, 2022Possibly. Fist off, have you added your third-party folder to your content locations via Daz settings, and if yes, which folder. If Daz is pointing to "My Trird party content" as the root folder, it's going to look at /My Trird party content/data/ and /My Trird party content/runtime/ for the stuff it needs to set up the character, and if it can't find it there, it shrugs its shoulders and gives up. If that's the case, simply move the contents of /My Trird party content/My Daz 3D Library to /My Trird party content/

Wed, Nov 09, 2022I did add ''My third-party content'' to the Daz directory and put the files in that folder. Daz recognizes the folder. Everything shows in the file folder, but when I try to apply it to GEN 8, Daz cant fined the files.
Lost at this point. I did contact the vendor and they have tried to help, but its still not working.
At some point I know I'll get it to work just have to keep trying to figure it out
Thanks for your help.
