Declined - Resubmit - Improper Product Folder Structure (CLOSED)

Hi,
I received a "Declined - Resubmit - Improper Product Folder Structure " on a character product. I installed the product on a second computer to make sure it functioned correctly. There was an issue with the character file not loading, but the folder structure was correct because everything went to the right place. I deleted all folders from the second computer, fixed the problem on my main computer, then reinstalled on the second computer, and everything worked like it should. I resubmitted, and it now says "Pending Approval-Improper Folder Structure".
I'd like to add that I have downloaded and installed a huge amount of products for DAZ, and am familiar with Daz's folder structure.
Can anyone please tell me what is going on with this?
Thank you.

I just took a look at the reviewers notes and downloaded the product myself to take a look.
Your textures path is wrong. It should be Runtime > Textures > YourVendorName > YourProductName > WhateverYouWant
The way you have it set up, you're dumping all of your textures into a "Rival Underground" folder.
You need to separate your textures into product folders so future products don't possibly overwrite existing product files.
(And so customers know where to look for them - in case they want to do some modifications of their own)
In addition, I see everything about your product references "Rival Underground" as the vendor name.
This would be confusing for your customers if they purchased the product from "J1974".
How would they know to go find their newly purchased product under Rival Underground?
They will be looking for it from the vendor they purchased it from.
You should either send a message to Support and request your vendor name be changed to Rival Underground, or have your products reference J1974.

Sun, Jan 15, 2023Ok. I see what you mean about the textures path. I actually didn't notice the textures path before.
Actually, my banner is Rival Underground Comics Group, and the read me actually references me as "AKA Rival Underground, J1974" but I see how that could be confusing. I'll send a message to request the name change and also fix the textures path.
Thank you, Foxy

Sun, Jan 15, 2023I have requested the name change, and fixed and re-upped the zip file, but it still says "Pending Approval-Improper Folder Structure".

Sun, Jan 15, 2023You're welcome.
We get complaints from customers when they can't find products in the places they are expecting to see them.
The readme is a good idea, but a lot of people don't bother reading them.
In fact, it seems a lot of people don't bother reading stuff, period.
I just dealt with a customer complaint today where they said the product they purchased was broken.
It turns out that it was an add-on texture pack for clothing, and required the original garment they didn't have.
Our system automatically puts a required product link (with a thumbnail image for the required product) in two places on the product page, and the vendor mentioned it twice in their product description, and the customer still didn't see it. And that happens a lot, unfortunately.
Anyway... The easier you can make it for the end user, the better it will be for you.
I'll check for your name change request and forward that to the guy in the main office that does them.
If you re-submit a product, you'll still see the decline reason until the product is re-approved.
Let me know if you have any other questions.

Mon, Jan 16, 2023Thanks for the info, Foxy. Funny you say that because I actually have Rival Underground in the description as well, that's actually the first two words lol.
I realize people don't bother to read anything, but still, I have every file listed in the read me, and exactly where it goes. It's easier to find things that way, and it's also easier to remove things that way as well. That's crazy about the garment. I always look to see if there are required products before I buy something...then again, I'm a writer by nature, so I do tend to read lol.
I understand now that you explain about the decline reason, I just didn't get it before lol.
I'll let you know if I have any other questions. Thank you for that. I'll pm you in the future about these things if that's ok. I don't want to seem like TOO much of an idiot out here hahahah.
Take care, and thanks again!
