Do any options exist to sort our wish list either by price or date?
If so, how? If not, this would be a good feature to have.

Fri, Apr 21, 2023FYI - One step of this feature has just been implemented.
Users will now get notifications in their message center when wishlist items go on sale.
You can see a new section on the top-left of your message center - https://www.renderhub.com/my-messages
You will also see a new notification icon on your top menu bar.

Tue, Apr 25, 2023Are you considering doing the same to Favorites? For some reason I am not able to add things to my Wishlist, so everything I want to save goes to my Favorites.

Tue, Apr 25, 2023@jorel5959 - I don't think they plan to do that.
The favorites / collections system is much different from the wishlist, since you can add gallery items there also.
I'm concerned, though, about your wishlist not working. What happens when you click the wishlist button (heart) on a product page?

Tue, Apr 25, 2023I don't want to tell you, because then you would know what an idiot I am. I could have sworn that under Add to Collection there used to be a choice of Wishlist and Favorites, but then Wishlist wasn't there anymore. I probably imagined that, but I didn't realize that clicking on the heart added it to the Wishlist. I'm sorry for bothering you with my stupidity.

Wed, Apr 26, 2023@jorel5959 - You shouldn't feel stupid at all, and I don't think you're an idiot. And it certainly is no bother.
If an important feature on a website isn't totally obvious, then the design or functionality should be changed.
You're probably not the only person in this situation.
What you described (an "Add to Wishlist" option within the "Add to Collection" drop-down) is a great idea.
I have opened a feature request and asked our coders to add that.
Thank you very much for sharing your experience. This kind of feedback helps RenderHub become a better place.

Right now, there is not. But it is already on our own wishlist of features to have the coders add in a future website update.
If anyone else wants to add their feedback or support for this feature, please comment in this thread.
The more people we have asking for features, the quicker I find them get added.
Thanks to the both of you so far for providing your feedback.

Fri, Feb 24, 2023You want ideas? I've been thinking about this for a while. How about if you introduce a frequent buyer program. It will take a lot of work by your programmers but I think that it will generate a lot of money for this website AND make this website the place people turn to first.
Here are the details.
You keep track of the purchases that everyone makes during the month. This information is already out there because I can see all of my purchases.
At the end of the month you total up all of the purchases that everyone made. The people in the top 40% are the bronze level and are given 1 cent credit for every dollar spent the previous month.
The people in the top 20% are the silver level and in addition to the 1 cent credit, they are awarded an extra 2 cent credit for every dollar spent the previous month. So, a total of 3 cents (1 cent for bronze PLUS 2 cents for silver) credit for every dollar spent the previous month.
The people in the top 10% are the Gold level and they are awarded an extra 3 cent credit for every dollar spent the previous month. So, a total of 6 cents (1 cent for bronze PLUS 2 cents for silver PLUS 3 cents for gold) credit for every dollar spent the previous month.
The people in the top 5% are the Platinum level and they are awarded an extra 4 cent credit for every dollar spent the previous month. So, a total of 10 cents (1 cent for bronze PLUS 2 cents for silver PLUS 3 cents for gold PLUS 4 cents for Platinum) credit for every dollar spent the previous month.
This is going to encourage purchases because everyone is going to be thinking "if I spend just a little more, it might put me in the next level".
If I spent $100 last month and that got me a silver reward, I would be inclined to spend more hoping to move me up to gold the next time especially since each higher level is a significant increase in rewards
Top 40% earns you a 1% reward.
Top 20% earns you a 3% reward.
Top 10% earns you a 6% reward.
Top 5% earns you a 10% reward.

Fri, Feb 24, 2023Here's another idea based on the previous idea which will make this program more appealing to the website. Instead of offering a rebate based on the previous month's purchase, offer a discount for the following month based on the previous month's purchases. In this way, the person will have to be a big spender two months in a row to take advantage of the discounts.
They will have to make a lot of purchases in the first month to qualify for the Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum levels and then they will have to also buy a lot in the following month to get those discounts to apply.
See what I mean?

Sun, Feb 26, 2023Cool idea, and thanks for sharing.
But could you re-post this new idea as a separate thread? So the feature request ideas don't get mixed up...
That way other people (and our coders) will know who's talking about what.
Thanks!

Really would like some sorting features to wishlist.
Sort By Sale
Sort By Price
Sort By Vendor
Pretty Please, with sugar on top!

Sat, Apr 15, 2023I just bumped this up on the feature request list for our coders and included your comment.
People have been asking for this for a while now, so I hope the sugar on top might help get it done.
FYI - The feature request is also for message center notifications when wishlist items go on sale.
I would really love to see that implemented, too.

Can/will there be customizing that notification? Some may only want to be notified if the discount is above a certain threshold. 10% off isn't exactly as noteworthy as 50% off, for example.

Ok... along the lines of "Things that would make the site better"
I was thinking about doing something for the Foxy3D Render contest... I'm sure I've bought something from that store... go to downloads and...
Lotta downloads, but there is no info in the downloads on who the product was by... that would be a nice feature to be able to sort by vendor/artist on the downloads

Mon, May 29, 2023Wow - That's a giant oversight there, and a great idea.
I honestly cannot believe I didn't notice that in my own downloads.
Thanks for pointing that out. I have added this to our admin feature request list.
And I'll check to see what you've purchased from my store. I'll send you a private message here in a bit.
I'd love to see you participate in my Fun Render Event.
