The CSS property aspect-ratio: 1/1 deforms the product image. Please see the screenshot below. This happens to all products and it's noticeable if there is a big difference between height and width.

I see that the value is calculated, probably from js because it doesn't happen all the time and if I scroll back and forth some times get's the ratio correct.

Got it. So when I scroll some times it gets the ratio from the previous image.

I know our coder was working on optimizing image display yesterday to improve the CLS score.
You must have caught them right in the middle of doing an update.
I don't see this happening anymore. For me, I see a variable aspect ratio that changes as you scroll through the images.
Let me know if you see anything else strange going on. I'll be happy to let our people know.
