Brought Assets for 2D CG game, now seller issues abuses (CLOSED)

Hey, not sure where to look at, so I have a question.
Does RenderHub have unifying copyright TOS or asset sellers can make up their own rules on assets?
RenderHub:
Renderhub terms, Section V, Chapter 2, Subsection c:
Scope of Use. Subject to the restrictions otherwise identified in this Agreement, the Extended Use License permits both non-commercial and commercial use of the Digital Asset.
This is followed by Subsection d-ii (permitted uses):
Computer games and software (computer/web/mobile games, virtual and augmented worlds, simulation and training environments, software user interfaces, electronic textbooks)
But I was made aware that a developer who brought some model to make 2D visual novel game (pictures) is now getting treats to be sued by the seller because he does not allow to use the model he sells on renderhub for any type of game.
I thought sellers have to agree with RenderHub rules to sell their assets on store and cannot retroactively change the asset license.
Can they?

The substantive issue you raise is a legal issue. And copyright rules are different depending on the country. The risk is therefore different if the author and the buyer are in the same country or in different countries.
If the author and the buyer are in different countries, which jurisdiction applies that of the country of the buyer or the seller?

Fri, Jul 14, 2023Why would residing country matter if a buyer buys an asset via RenderHub which has an "Extended License" to make renders/pictures?
The issue is now that after buying an asset under "Extended License" and contacting a seller, the seller started to threaten the buyer and force him to buy some additional expensive license personally from the seller after the fact - the buyer brought an asset via render hub with "Extended License".
Honestly, it sounds like a scam.
In short,
the buyer buys the item from renderhub.
the seller starts threatening the buyer in a very aggressive manner trying to force them to buy an additional "personal" license from the seller to avoid issues.

Fri, Jul 14, 2023Additionally, the item market is in order as having an "Extended Use License".
Can a seller sneak in additional terms to this "Extended Use License"?
Or RenderHub use one standard form of "Extended Use License"?

Sat, Jul 15, 2023I think Dorothee237 just wanted to draw attention to the differences in legislation depending on the country of residence. The buyer reasons according to his country of residence and the seller too.
It may reveal habit differences when they are in different countries.
An example in France:
The copyright is valid for the life of the author and for 70 years to the heirs
I am not sure that this rule is the same in all countries.

This issue is currently being resolved between RenderHub Support, the vendor, and the customer.
To answer your questions and concerns...
"Does RenderHub have unifying copyright TOS or asset sellers can make up their own rules on assets?"
A link to the Terms of Use can be found in the footer at the bottom of every page. ( https://www.renderhub.com/info/legal )
A link to the license can be found in the footer, and also on every product page. ( https://www.renderhub.com/info/3d-content-licensing )
"I thought sellers have to agree with RenderHub rules to sell their assets on store and cannot retroactively change the asset license. Can they?"

When a customer purchases a product, per the Terms of Use - and the RenderHub license - it is the RenderHub license that is in effect.
A customer cannot be expected to open, read, and abide by any additional terms contained within the product package itself.
Per the Terms of Use, and the license, the customer has not been advised to do that, is not agreeing to do that, and cannot be expected to do that.
When a vendor uploads a product, they are agreeing to the posted license terms.
In this case, see Section IX. OTHER PROVISIONS > 8. Entire Agreement
"This Agreement, together with the RenderHub Terms of Use constitutes the sole and entire agreement between Licensee on the one hand and RenderHub and the Seller on the other hand relating to your Purchase of a Digital Asset and supersedes all prior and contemporaneous understandings, agreements, representations, and warranties, both written and oral, with respect to the Digital Asset."
