A pleated dress with sheer ombre pleats and feathers. Worn over a double-breasted sheer blouse with spliced/appliqued lace, layered sleeves and extended collar.
Started from a paper prototype on a post-it note accordion pleated and twisted I did the same in Marvelous Designer and riffed from there. In the end it became quite maximalist.
Pleat pandemonium! As you might be able to see here the main shapes were pleated and twisted into shape, rather than [predominantly] cut and sewn. This constituted the majority of work on this project and was the main idea behind it. The blouse's sleeves are sewn from pieces that twist around the arms.
My mannequin lost its hair but I'll pass it off as a tribute to Sinead O'Connor.
I intend to put this one out for sale/download once I get that figured out and add some things and options that were left out.

I'll mention that the texturing was achieved by among other things creating trim sheets and using several UV Maps to blend textures together in high resolution without using any UDIMs. Intention is realtime/games compatibility.
