No matter how far in the future or how far from earth we travel, there's something within us (especially kids) that wants to see what's out there. It doesn't matter if "what's out there" is across the galaxy or across the stream. We want to explore it because we have this sneaking suspicion that whatever's just beyond our view will be spectacular.
