"Is there someone in your room?" Jill asked.
"No," replied Melissa.
"Are you sure?"
"Yes, I'm sure!" she insisted.
Jill squinted her eyes and scrutinized the image on her screen. "Okay. Maybe it's just sketchy video that's messing with my mind."
"What do you mean?" Melissa questioned.
"Well, it's just that there's this shadow in your entry that kind of looks like a tall, skinny dude."
Melissa felt a chill run from the back of her neck, up to the top of her head and back down to her fingers and toes. She wanted to spin around to confirm that she was alone, but she also felt the instinct to stay facing her webcam.
