About the story:
The scene takes place during the time of human sacrifice among the Maya.
During the ceremony, the priest would make a deep incision in the chest to extract the heart of the sacrifice.
Before dying, the sacrifice would see her heart raised above the altar.

I used Daz3D's Iray renderer, and I also used GIMP to darken the scene.
