"We'll Tear Your Soul Apart!" (CLOSED)

A homage to one of my all-time favourite horror movies, created by one of my all-time favourite authors - Hellraiser.
Figure posed in DAZ Studio, and imported to Blender; chains, lightning, atmospherics all created from scratch in Blender; rendered and post-processed in Blender.
Hope you like!
First, the WIP shots/wireframe:

Here's the raw render, without post-processing:

... And here's the final image, with post-processing complete:

Last, but not least: here's the thumbnail:

Not going to lie: this took a lot of work on my Surface Pro 7 (these things are not designed for 3D work!), and I was tearing my hair out on more than one occasion - but I'm really pleased with the final result... I think it might be one of the best images I've ever managed to put together, and I learned a lot about Geometry Nodes in Blender to make the chains and lightning! Thanks for the opportunity to enter this contest, and good luck to everyone who enters!

Sun, Oct 29, 2023Thank you - there's something about the Cenobites, and the lore surrounding them and the Lament Configuration, that just resonates with me (to he honest, the same is true of pretty much all of Clive Barker's work!)
I prefer the raw render cause it looks to me more like an actual art - like something painted that you can hang on your wall.
But both versions are cool. Great job!
