What a scene and a magical one at that. Loved the story of the magical reindeer. Though sad, she got separated from her father.
A magical moment and understanding which you've captured perfectly in your render. I can see Santa's shooting across the sky as well.

I think her father might have comforted her by saying ''I'm always beside you, and always will be''
The reindeer was a messenger of grace or an allegory of her long lost father.

( Btw, if you look carefully into the picture you will notice the Flying Santa with his reindeers too. I think Santa had a part
in this story as well, adding a little touch of Christmas spirit himself =)
