GLBTransoceanic Nexus: A Frozen Alliance (CLOSED)
191
"In 'Transoceanic Nexus,' the lines between two vast worlds are seamlessly bridged as ice becomes the unifying element. This artwork, reminiscent of the poetic minimalism seen in the works of Richard Long, presents a visual narrative that transcends geographical constraints.Inspired by Long's land art, 'Transoceanic Nexus' explores the frozen expanse as a connective tissue between distant realms. The ice, sculpted with deliberate precision, echoes the meticulous craftsmanship seen in the works of Andy Goldsworthy. The convergence of two oceans, captured within the frozen medium, evokes a sense of delicate balance and the intrepid spirit found in the maritime paintings of J.M.W. Turner.
