For the Love of Dragons (CLOSED)

In a world which once was home to fire-breathing, flying reptiles, a visit to the Museum of Natural History would undoubtedly stir the imagination, awe, and wonder of all kinds of people.

Here are a few wire-frame images, to prove I made it and to demonstrate the complexity of the scene:

Wed, Jan 31, 2024I have corrected the thumbnail....Thank you for bringing that to my attention.
Did you have the British Natural History museum in mind ?
Good choice of a place to make a composition.
Your subjects choice is good too. Thumbnail looks realistic as well.
Sure to attract attention. Good luck and have a great day.

Fri, Jan 26, 2024I've never been to the British Natural History Museum, but I have been to two or three others in my time. I thought it would be an unusual take on dragon lore. Thanks.

Sat, Jan 27, 2024Thank you DClaw for the info as well. It might be a good idea for your siblings to go and see those cultural heritages as well.
It is worth seeing, rather than being told on educational basis from books. Maybe, make it a weekend occasion, to spend some time in the museum especially with younger generation. Good to see your other ideas of imagination come to life =) You may have seen lots of places from your previous years so why not give your loved ones, opportunities as well (maybe you've done so, already). You could spend more time on the subject although travelling may seem costly, start by near places of attraction for example. Excuse me if I've suggested much.
Have a good weekend and good luck.

Mon, Jan 29, 2024I've taken a couple of days to decide how to respond to this.
I'm just a little perplexed (and more than a little irritated) about why a person would take my render, manipulate it on their own, and then repost it in my thread. The best that I can come up with (while still giving you the benefit of the doubt) is that your intention is to "help" me by showing how my render could have been "better," as you see it anyway.
While I believe it's your privilege to think my work could be better or that you would do it differently, it is NOT your privilege to take, manipulate, and alter my work. Perhaps I'm trying to convey the image of a dusty, old museum with particulates in the air. Perhaps I believe a render with little to know variation in textures looks too artificial for my tastes. And even if the "artifacts" you see are an unwanted byproduct of my render, that doesn't make it okay for you to revise and repost my work.
If you want to help someone, make a comment about something specific, offer a suggestion of something I might think about doing in the future, don't rework my render yourself. That's just hurtful and insulting.
I don't have the option to delete your post with your revised images, or I would.

Mon, Jan 29, 2024Okay thank you for your comment DClaw. I wanted to help you in some way. What makes your render wouldn't change what is yours in the first place, if this would comfort you. Maybe your render would be seen with in its full glory I guess as a thought. I couldn't have imagined your intention. You have every right so say this. You can report this to be taken down. You won't hear from me again. This should teach me a lesson. I apologize for this once again.

Fri, Feb 02, 2024This is funny. Someone tried to help you to remove noise clearly coming from bad rendering quality (and no, the dust doesn't look like this, check some references) and instead of saying thank you or trying to remove the noise yourself or at least saying "I still want to have it with the noise" you say "my work bla-bla-bla".
Probably you took almost all of these models from sources without modeling much, in this case you can't even call it your work.

Sat, Feb 03, 2024That's an interesting perspective, ElaGus. It's so nice of you to interject yourself into a conversation that has nothing to do with you. I really appreciate your insightful and helpful comments, and also your thoughtful evaluation of my work. I will really take your opinions to heart because they mean so much to me.
