The ancient book of dragon lore sat on the mage's desk, worn from his frequent studies of it. However, one night, something activated the hidden magic of the book. Flames leapt from the pages, and drawings of dragons within began to glow golden. Suddenly, two dragons, very different from each other, emerged from the pictures, and immediately began to battle!

I can't make a guess of who wins at the end =)
Good executed idea. Kind of reminded me of the first Jumanji, as a mysterious board game.
I liked the circular fire around each dragon, as if they shouldn't leave their perimeter in the book, although there seems to be opening on each side of the fire circle (or it may be for the dragons not get too close to each other).

Thu, Feb 01, 2024Thank you!!! They look pretty evenly matched to me, not sure how this will end. Or maybe the mage will come back in time and stop them, hopefully before they completely torch the room! And I like your idea about the magic fire, I was thinking maybe it was magic coming out as they escaped the book, but I think it could certainly be a barrier of some kind too. That's part of the fun of art, different people see different things!
